I am honored to serve as the MRWBA’s President for the 2008-2009 bar year. My theme for this year is “Imagine the Possibilities”. The possibilities are endless at the MRWBA. In the 1970s, a group of four women set out to establish an organization for female attorneys. Who could have guessed that the organization would grow into the active and dedicated group of 200 female attorneys that it is today?

There are so many opportunities at the MRWBA – networking at monthly luncheons, working on a committee, participating in a public service project, or taking on a leadership role. Imagine the possibilities.

The best part of the MRWBA is the friends you will make and the camaraderie that you will experience. The MRWBA is more than just an organization. It is a group of women from a variety of different backgrounds who come together as colleagues, friends, and a supportive and caring family. I hope that you will find your experience with the MRWBA as rewarding as I do.
