Luncheon Program*:

Our January 10th luncheon will feature a presentation by the newly created Computer Crimes Unit at the Virginia Attorney General's Office.  The program will highlight new trends in computer crime and fraud and the efforts being made to thwart computer theft in Virginia.  Please join us for what promises to be a very informative and timely presentation.

Following the program we will vote on candidate endorsements for the vacancies occasioned by Judge Wimbish's retirement, Judge Wilkinson's retirement and the new Juvenile and Domestic Relations Position in Chesterfield.

COMING IN FEBRUARY AND MARCH...

Mark your calendars to attend our luncheon meetings on February 7 and March 7, 2001.  At the February meeting, we will consider proposed changes to our bylaws -- including important changes relating to our judicial nominations procedures.  In March, we will be given the opportunity to meet and discuss important issues with various members of Virginia General Assembly.  We look forward to seeing all of you at our luncheon meetings next year!

*The luncheon will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of January instead of the first because of the holidays.
