Board Nominations Open! Are you Ready to Step Up?

MRWBA, a 501(c)6 membership association, is currently seeking members to serve on the 2026-2027 Board of Directors. The strength of any organization is built on its membership, and the diversity of the individuals and organizations that make up the MRWBA membership and Board of Directors have helped us to build the strong community that exists today.

Founded in 1972 by a small group of dedicated professionals, MRWBA is the premier organization for women attorneys in the Richmond area. With a mission of supporting and enhancing the professional development of women in the legal profession through education and networking opportunities, regular programs occur every other month from September through May, as well as other gatherings throughout the year, including member socials, CLE opportunities, and mentorship events.

A committee of Past Presidents nominates the Officers and Judicial Endorsement Committee members from the applications received. The membership votes on these nominations during the annual meeting each May. The President-Elect assigns Committee Chairs (note that Chairs and Co-Chairs serve on the MRWBA Board of Directors along with Officers).
