Governance

The MRWBA is a 501(c)6 membership association incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The fiscal year of the organization is from June 1st through May 31st.

The organization is governed by a Board of Directors as specified in the bylaws. An administrator paid under contract manages the day-to-day work of the association.

Board Nominations Sought

MRWBA is currently seeking members to serve on the 2021-2022 Board of Directors. A committee of Past Presidents nominates the Officers and Judicial Endorsement Committee members from the applications received. The membership votes on these nominations during the annual meeting in May. The President-Elect assigns Committee Chairs (note that Chairs & Co-Chairs serve on the MRWBA Board of Directors along with Officers).
